Tip #1: Keep your tanks dry!
- Always dry your tank when it is exposed to water. Parts that are not properly painted or chips and dents will rust! Yes, the pins in the tracks will rust too!
- Dry your tank with paper towels and if needed, blow dry with a hair dryer before storage after use.
Tip #2: When driving through and getting stuck in places with gravel, stones and tall grasses...
- It is wise to walk over and check to make sure no hard objects are stuck between the tank tracks and the sprockets or idlers. Forcing your tank that way will inevitably cause damage.
Tip #3: To avoid toasting your smoker unit...
- If you switch on the smoker with no aerosol left in it, the smoker unit will be damaged.
- To ensure that there is always some aerosol left, a few drops of aerosol top-up prior to turning it on is always recommended.
Tip #4: When not in use...
- If the tank is to be left sitting for an extended period of time, place the tank chassis on a block and make sure the tracks are off the ground. This helps to prolong the life of the suspension springs.
Tip #5: Do not leave the battery connected in the tank...
- Always unplug the battery when not in use. Battery melting in your tank can be a real mess.
